Thank you for signing up for the Toy Drive this year! We are glad that we can help you provide a special Christmas for your children. The drive will be held at the United Methodist Church (the clocktower church) in Sewickley on November 30th. The address is 337 Broad St., Sewickley, PA 15143. You may park in the St. Stephen’s parking lot located just behind the church. The doors will open at 9am and close at 3pm. NOTE: This is a location change from past years. We have grown out of the prior space, but don’t worry, the volunteers from St. Matthew’s AME who we have all come to love, will be there to help.
NO CHILDREN ARE PERMITTED to accompany you the day of the toy drive. The purpose is to provide you with toys that you choose for your children, take home and wrap for their Christmas morning, so it would be inappropriate for them to be there. All toys are new, unwrapped toys ready for gifting.
In addition to toys this year there will be a limited number of household items such as small appliances, dishes, etc. These will also be new. There will be the availability of new clothing as well as some gently used clothing that you may take if you have a need. Our goal is to help to make your Christmas special.
There will be both native Spanish speakers there the entire day to assist you if you are non-English speaking.
This is a special event each year. Everyone who is there is there because they love to help with the toy drive. It will be a fun, nonjudgmental event, that welcomes all who come through the door. Although we utilize the space within the church, this is NOT a religious event. It is an outreach of people in the neighborhood who want to help their neighbors.
